Vegetable Detox, Fifth Day

--->I'm proud that I've been doing whatever to keep my promise about blogging this detox experience. How's everyone doing? Are you keeping up with me?
--->Today was day five of my detoxification. So good so far. It's actually not that bad anymore. I can't wait to have a baked fish fillet though. I spoke with a colleague of mine who's a PA and she warned me that diets like this are very superficial. That is in order to get a full and effective detox, one will have to completely change his eating pattern over time. The goal is to kill multiple cycles of bacteria, not just one.
--->To me, though, this is not a short term change. This is me trying to get back on track with my healthy eating habits. Sans my chocolate addiction, I do eat very well. I know what to do...I just have to do it. And she hit the nail RIGHT on the head when she said "conventional wisdom never cured anybody." ...go figure.

Daily bit of inspiration.
Fashion is a passion of mine; I consider myself a fashionista. While walking around Manhattan after work today, I was reminded why I'm so in love with the City. New York City streets are definitely runways. ALL the women know how to dress-well there are of course exceptions. Whether it's jeans and a t-shirt, vintage, or couture they ALWAYS bring it. I haven't been to Paris (yet!), but I can easily argue NYC is the fashion capital of the world!

just me. only me. all me. 10/12/10
