Proverbs 23:9:
Don’t waste your breath on fools, for they will despise the wisest advice.

I particularly like this scripture because it relates to my life and the people in it...and I myself have played the fool before! Somethings can be so obvious...so common sense, but when we try to advice those closest to us they refuse to accept our points of views and continue in their business. Not saying I have the answers for everything-or anything at all for that matter-but sometimes when I'm doing my duty to help one as a friend, sister, cousin, lover, confident, or human you should try out hear me out. Only that person knows the situation truly, but being out-of-the-box gives other eyes that are useful to help the "fool". A fool in this case being a person whom is stubborn and unaccepting person. But there comes a point where you just stop being the caring person you are and let that fool continue in their foolish ways. And to continue....

Proverbs 18:2
A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions.

So there is no need to waste our breath on these unappreciative people. They will say what they want to say and do what they want to do. It is up to us to decide if the friendship/love is true are we going to stick around to emotionally support these people. All we can do is ask the Holy Ghost to be with them as they go forth.

Let's pray for the fools of the world and ask God that we do not become fools ourselves.

A very popular, old-school song says: Everybody plays the fool sometime; there's no exception to the rule...
FOOLS!
