Enough Sex?
I always think that it's good to move around and not just do the same ting because it become the regular then the regular becomes boring then the boring becomes mundane. Recently a friend and I were discussing Trey Songz in the new Fat Joe song (check out the video). Trey, after not much success as a regular younging/hustler, turned into a sex symbol. He is the prime example of "sex sells." And we all are familiar with his music so no need to go there.
My friend was a bit-uhmmmm-bothered that he wants to switch up his image. She feels as though he should stick to one concept and not all of a sudden try to act hard (you know everyone's thugging nowadays). I, on the other hand, feel like it's great that he's branching out and not just discussing the bedroom (which I still feel is taboo). There's only so many sexual related topics to talk about before we start getting bored! So this may be a step in a new direction he may be taking his career. Since he tried the thug thing before and it didn't work, it may be his safest bet to branch out now since he has established himself and respect in the industry. Nonetheless, he is one of the hottest out here now and we ain't mad at him. HEY TREY!
