.:What Disappoints Me The Most:.
After spending a month in Liberia and coming back to the dead winter I absolutely could not wait until Summer started. I had dreams of hot weather, hot weather clothes, ice cream, and all the other ingredients that make the Summer fun. See, Winter has always been my favorite season since I acquired explicit memory, but warmer weather has been my latest fascination. So when May and June came around my heart was soooooooo excited-I even planned on wearing shorts for the first time since 6th grade. BUT to much of my dismay, my local, very renowned weatherman informed me that it was going to be a "hot, muggy, rainy summer...it's gonna rain practically everyday". Man oh man I'm so sad about that...all I wanted was some heat waves and blasting A/C... It feels as though I'm living in Britain with this pseudo-Summer. All I want is a real Summer !!!! {queue Al Gore global warming rant in 5....4....3....2...}
...guess that's why they say the only way to not get disappointed is not to expect anything =)
